Here We Go!

May 1st begins National Scrapbooking Month and also the beginning of our challenge.100 Scraps in 100 Days – Here are the rules:1. Friend this blog…yes, even if you are a follower of my other blog, “The Scrappy Housewife”. I want you to do this so A) I can tell who is following in case there are prizes or giveaways along the way (yes, really!) and B) because I’m not going to be cross-posting often and you’ll miss something. I know that everyone who reads The Scrappy Housewife isn’t a scrapbooking enthusiast and I don’t want to spam their blog rolls.2. You must complete 1 scrapbook page per day for 100 days. However, I am not naive enough to believe that for 100 days the following will happen: Everyone will be 100% healthy, nothing will go wrong and we will all have spare time in the day. SO – if you can’t do…

RePost from The Scrappy Housewife

100 Scraps in 100 Days ChallengeI have a confession to make. My name is Christina aka The Scrappy Housewife and I am a Scrapbook Supplies Hoarder. If you’ve been here since January, you probably remember my Office Decrapification. During that clean up I showed you this little area here:All of what you see there is scrapbook supplies. See the smaller white containers on the bottom left and mid-right? That’s paper. Scrapbook paper. There’s more on top of the mid-right bin and middle set of drawers. And I just bought two new stacks two days ago. Yes, really. Wanna know the sad part of all this? I don’t scrapbook. Well, that’s not entirely true. I do scrapbook. I have lots of pictures organized and ready to go in archival bins, labeled, cataloged, scanned, etc, etc. Heck I even have scrapbooks started. You can kinda see my scrapbook shelf on the bookcase in the top…

I have not forgotten you…

Hi all!I swear I haven’t forgotten about you or stopped blogging. Life has intervened and things around the Scrappy house need to get done. I was going to show you a picture of my To Do list, but felt a little self-conscious about how long it is…Anyway, I will be back this week with more things (the blog is one of the things on the list!). Pre-Trip Mania

So on Thursday, the Hubs and I are driving the insane 12 hours it takes to get to Florida to visit my family for my brother’s Big 5-0. I of course have my lists made and my process of planning in full swing. Am I the *only* one out there who takes on way TOO MUCH when getting ready for a trip. I’m dying here folks. Why do I inflict this pain on myself? Right now the list is at 45 things…yeah. So is it just me or do y’all do this too?
