I received this product complimentary from Influenster and Sinful Colors for testing purposes and my review as part of the #SurfsUpVoxBox. All opinions are 100% honest, and 100% mine.

Sinful Colors Nail Polish

Hey guys! Today, let’s talk about something a little different. Nail polish!

I’m not sure if I’ve ever really shared just how obsessed with make up and nail polish that I am. I have quite the stash. So when Influenster offered me the #SurfsUpVoxBox (including a free, full sized bottle of one of my favorite nail polish brands!) I knew I couldn’t pass it up. Why would anyone pass up a chance at free beauty products?

So let’s talk nail polish. I could (and would love) to spend a lot of time on my nails, but I just don’t have the time most days. I like playing around with nail art, but 99% of the time, I’m a one color and done kind of girl. I like to keep it simple, even in my manicures.

I have quite the collection of polish, for sure. Some are high end, and some are drug store brands. I don’t discriminate. But one of my favorite brands (whether we’re talking high end or drug store) is Sinful Colors. Here are some of my favorite Sinful Colors polishes:

So what’s so awesome about this polish? According to Influenster and Sinful Colors: “Bold, Vibrant, Sexy, Unexpected Color! Sinful Colors professional formula is formaldehyde, toluene and DBP free and is never tested on animals.”  I love that it’s never tested on animals (which I did not know until now) and that they’ve taken out chemicals that will be harsh on my nails.

The color I received was Sage Rose. They could not have chosen a better color for me. I loved it. It is a gorgeous magenta/purple with metallic undertones. It’s a shimmer, but where I usually find shimmers kind of streaky when applied, this wasn’t. It went on smoothly and was beautifully self-leveling. The formula was amazing.

And here it is on my nails:

I was so impressed by this particular Sinful Colors polish. It was a solid two coater, and I topped it with my favorite top coat. It lasted on my nails for about 5 days, which is awesome for a drugstore polish (and better than some high end polishes too!).

The best part of all of this for me is the price point. $1.99! Y’all know I love a bargain. And I really believe that you’re getting a ton of quality for just a couple of bucks. I usually get mine at my local Walgreens (my favorite drugstore  – no lie). They have a great selection and get a lot of seasonal collections too. The variety in this brand is kind of amazing. Just about any color you could ask for.

I can’t really rave enough about this polish. It was a dream to put on, the price is right and the color was like Sinful Colors made it just for me. I could not ask for more.

I’ve been working on organizing my make up collection and have a post about how I’ve organized it and my quick and easy make up routine coming soon, so keep an eye out for those. Back with more soon, friends!

I’ve been wanting to try a true gel polish. Sinful Colors also has a gel type polish (no light required) that I would recommend for your toes!

  2. I am dying for that price. I don’t usually pick up nail polish that cheap because I assume it won’t last long. Definitely will have to try Sinful Colors!

Jeanie it is gorgeous! But hey, I’ve been known to try and pass off latex wall paint as a mani. I get it. 😉

  3. I just bought some polish from them the other day – some glittery kind! I love it. It was super easy to go on.

It has literally out-performed my last two bottles of the expensive stuff!
