Learning to Crochet

While I was planted on the couch sick earlier this week I spent some time catching up on my blog reader. I was painfully behind. 😉 One of my favorite crafty bloggers is Allison at little lovelies. She is so talented and creative. She’s single-handedly rekindled my love for embroidery (something I’ve loved working on since childhood, but lost touch with as I got older). She doesn’t know who the heck I am. 😉 But anyway…now she’s gotten me interested in something I’ve always wanted to learn how to do…CROCHET!

My mother was super talented. She could do pretty much whatever she set her mind to. Crocheting was one of her many talents. Unfortunately, I never acquired that talent. 😉

Anywho, while I was catching up on Allison’s awesome blog…she mentioned joining up for a free (don’t we all love FREE?) crochet-along class at Maybe Matilda. I was instantly hooked (crochet joke…get it? hook? Har har.) and signed up. It’s for crocheters of all skill levels including newbies like me! I’m so excited.
