In the last couple of weeks, I’ve been going through and cleaning out my craft room (again). In the process, I’m finding a lot of memorabilia in the way of ticket stubs, business cards, etc that I want to eventually include in my Project Life layouts but right now just seem to be sitting around getting shuffled into stacks of papers, projects and, well, mess. One set of tickets even went through the wash. Yeah. I really needed a solution to store them safely without filling another box of stuff.
Then it hit me. If I’m going to include it in Project Life then why not just attach them to Project Life cards? Ah but then, how do I know how do I know what kind of cards I’ll get around to using when I do the actual layouts? I turned to my PL stash. I wanted to find the core kits that would be neutral enough that they could be incorporated easily with other kits. I settled on Seafoam, Midnight and Kraft. (If you’re not a fanatic like I am, a pack of 4×6 Project Life grid cards would be fantastic for this – and would go with every kit!) Then I grabbed a C photo plastic and my stapler.
It was easy. I just stapled ticket sets to a card and slipped them into the photo plastic. Easy peasy! And the best part is that they can be clipped into my albums until I’m ready to do the layouts! And there’s no glue or adhesive so I can move the cards easily. This is one of the many reasons I love Project Life.

Great idea Christina, I tend to horde my ticket stubs too and they end up all over the house. I really should track them all down and do this with mine as well.
You are not alone Katie! I swear the more I clean the more I realize I’ve got stuff *everywhere*. If you do it, put a pic on Instagram and tag me. I’d love to share it. 🙂
